The Voice of Resilience and Synergy: “Remember Together” Projects in Arnhem
The “VilnaJa” community is a space of multifaceted development, empowerment, and active cultural diplomacy. We believe that real change is driven by action. Beyond helping individuals discover their inner strength, we build enduring bridges between cultures, communities, and nations.
For three consecutive years, “VilnaJa” has been the official organizer and driving force behind the large-scale international commemorative events “Remember Together” in Arnhem, held on the anniversaries of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Developed in close synergy with the European alliance “Remember Together,” this project transforms each anniversary into a powerful platform for solidarity, unity, and open dialogue.
A Scale That Unites:
Our events in Arnhem have become a traditional gathering point for hundreds of people, bringing Ukrainians and the Dutch community together. We engage the highest levels of support and institutional collaboration:
- Officials and Diplomats: Our events consistently welcome the Mayor (Burgomaster) of Arnhem, representatives of the municipality (Gemeente Arnhem), the Ministry of Migration, and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
- International Institutions: We actively collaborate with leading international, charitable, and humanitarian organizations.
- The Community: A shared space where local residents and displaced Ukrainians stand side-by-side, united by core European values—freedom, justice, and humanity.
What We Create Within the Project:
- A Platform for Dialogue: Panel discussions and expert presentations that help European society gain a deeper understanding of modern challenges.
- Cultural Diplomacy: Moving photo exhibitions and interactive workshops showcasing the strength, resilience, and beauty of Ukrainian identity.
- Caring for the Future: Dedicated children’s spaces and therapeutic workshops focused on supporting the mental well-being of the youngest generation.
- Peaceful Commemorative March: An evening march through the streets of the city—a profound, candlelit demonstration of solidarity that unites people of all nationalities in their pursuit of a just peace.
